Frederick Arnold, PhD, who was originally from Monroeton PA, died in 2007. He was in the PGSS class of 1984. Frederick had served as a staff scientist at the University of Chicago, and Director of Scientific Computing at Northwestern University. He was also an Assistant Professor in the Chemistry Department at the State University of New York, Binghamton.
