I always had a passion for learning about the unknown. My 5 weeks at PGSS confirmed this and solidified my budding interest inmaterials chemistry. With Dr. Butera, I was able to work in a group that steered me towards my choice of major at school. I also believe that my involvement in PGSS almost guaranteed me a spot in the Schreyer Honors College at PSU. This involvement has opened many opportunities for me for research and advanced classes that I otherwise would have missed.
