PGSS was one of the most positive experience I have ever been lucky to be a part of. PGSS introduced to some of my best friends, whom Istill keep in contact with and visit to this day. Academically, PGSS allowed me to explore fields that are just not available on the high school level, all while I was in my junior year of high school. The Governor’s School program offered me a glimpse into the world of college, independent living, responsibility, and adulthood, and I believe I matured more in my 5 weeks at Carnegie Mellon than at anyother point in my life. Even today, I find myself looking back on my summer in Pittsburgh as one of the best and most fruitful periods of my life.
