PGSS reminded me of the joy of learning, which high school had basically demolished by the end of my junior year. I was surrounded bymotivated students instead of people simply scrambling for grades. This reinvigorated my interest in science. Now that I am a freshman in college, I find topics and facts covered in Gov School coming up in my classes, allowing me to make important connections. PGSS also introduced me to Java programming, which is essential in a world increasing integrated with computers. I found the introduction to organic chemistry particularly helpful.
