We owe a huge THANK YOU to BEN CAMPBELL (PGSS 1997). Ben has been a TA or faculty member at PGSS since he was eligible–with the exception of the year he got married; that was forbidden! He has also been a PGSS mentor. What you may not know is that Ben formed the group that was originally trying to get all of the Governor’s Schools back when they shut down in 2009. Ben was part of the original group that started PGSS Campaign, our non-profit, in 2010 to bring PGSS back. He was there when we met with the former governor; in addition to being a recurring monthly donor, Ben donated his faculty salary back to PGSS once we were back on campus in 2013. There is so much more he has done to ensure the future of PGSS that can’t fit in this space. Now, after 12 years as Vice-President of PGSS Campaign, Ben has rolled off the Board. He will be sorely missed on the board but he will still be serving PGSS in many, many ways.
