Rob is an Infrastructure Planner at Amtrak. He focuses on improving train speeds and system performance, particularly on the Northeast Corridor between Washington and Boston. He attended PGSS in 2008 and helped restart the program in 2013 as a TA. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT, and a master’s in Urban Studies from the CUNY School of Labor and Urban Studies. Growing up in Philadelphia and living in New York City for over a decade, he is particularly interested in cities and collective infrastructure. He spends his time running, singing, and volunteering with a nonprofit internet network called NYC Mesh where he is also a board member.
