PGSS was the primary experience that solidified my interest in experimental biology and led me to study biochemistry and biology. Inspired by the research I performed at PGSS, I became involved in research during my undergraduate years at Cornell, which led me to pursue a PhD in biochemistry at UCSF. I am now a postdoctoral fellow at Johns Hopkins University. At the end of my time at JHU, I hopeto obtain a faculty position at a university, where I can continue to pursue my research interests while also teaching undergraduates and training students in my research laboratory.
